It's 1 minute drive from the main street of Coober Pedy, in Jeweller's Shop Rd. We'll meet at the parking area near the picnic tables. Map link

We supply everything you need for opal hunting and your car will be parked nearby, in case you need to grab a jacket or bottle of water, etc. Long trousers and closed shoes are recommended, due to snakes, scorpions and other bitey creatures

Pay online at the time of booking or choose to pay on the night with cash.

We've supplied groups of 50, which are quite fun - just need a little notice to prepare! Contact us for bespoke bookings.

You never know! Some have found some really nice and potentially valuable opalised fossil shells and seam opal. Luck definitely has a lot to do with it, but we'll give some tips to try and help increase your odds!
